Our emergency response services
The role of the emergency mobile response team is to work with the control centre to deliver a support service direct to the customer’s home.
All teams are chosen for their relevant locality and so are within easy reach of customers.
Where possible, our aim is to be on site within 20 minutes of receiving the initial call.
The emergency response teams are trained to deal with sensitive and emergency situations and will liaise with the control centre, emergency services, family and friends as required.
A range of enhanced response services
We can also provide enhanced services such as ‘falls pick-up’, moving and handling and emergency personal care, ensuring that our service users get the service that they require at the time when they need it most.
We also provide a relief manager service to cover holidays, sickness and weekends.
Our mobile teams will assist with routine visits to schemes to check on the welfare of the residents and, where necessary, perform night-time security checks.
My husband had a fall. Thankfully, he wasn’t hurt, but I couldn’t get him back up on my own. The lovely people from Eldercare were there in minutes. They checked that he was OK, then got him back on his feet, without them I would have had no choice but to call an ambulance.
Our response services are fully accredited to the Telecare Services Association Code of Practice.
